Grandmothers the world over know a lot about making do. They've been doing it for years! This economy block quilt is a favorite of theirs because it wastes so little fabric and looks so cute! Put together four sets of them for a quilt block that's granny-approved. To begin you'll need one roll of 2 1/2" print strips along with one package of 10" background squares and 1 1/2 yards of background fabric.
